CAN WE PRETEND THAT AIRPLANES IN THE
NIGHT SKY ARE LIKE SHOOTING STARS CAUSE I COULD REALLY USE A WISH RIGHT NOW

Scarlett Belmont stared back at her own reflection without any real interest. She'd become accustomed to this process. Sitting in front of a mirror, one woman pulling away at your head as if it wasn't attached to your scalp while another powdered your nose and painted your eyelids. This was now apart of Scarlett's job and to be honest, she was so used to it, she couldn't remember what her old day to day life had been like. She was living her dream, working hard and smiling for the camera whenever she was told to.
Since making it big on Hollywood High two years ago, Scarlett's life had changed completely. She came from a small town, relied heavily upon her family and always wanted the simplest things in life. She was going to get a scholarship for college, rank nationally as a cheerleader then marry some football player and have a bunch of kids. It wasn't the mightiest of dreams and it had quickly been replaced when Scar got her break as an actress. Now this was everything she'd ever wanted. The sticky of question of if she was or wasn't go to go to college was becoming more of an issue however. Not only did she have her parents constantly harassing her to enroll, but now some media sources were bringing it up.
Another publicity event. They were often and what some people may call a chore. To Scarlett, they were always fun though. Sure you usually got asked the same questions and you did kind of get sick of talking about yourself and your show but she loved giving people her time. It wast he least she could do for her fans and she was quickly becoming a crowd favourite. Her on screen character Chloe Madison was your stereotypical high school queen bee with a heart of gold. You loved to hate her. Scarlett wasn't nearly as manipulative or wild as her character and she always had fun showing of her carefree, charming spirit to the public.
Thanking the staff as they finally finished polishing her up, Scarlett tuned into the words of one of the television shows advisor's. The run downs were always quick. Smile, be charming, love each other, don't give away any spoilers, endorse this product. The cast knew everything there was to know. Most of them were easy to work with and very easy to get along with. Zahara Zucco however, seemed to have the meanest streak of the bunch. She was a warning to Scarlett. Something the blonde never wanted to be like.
"Okay guys, you're going in as pairs. Scar and Zahara, you'll be up together in fifteen minutes. Make me proud guys" the voice interrupted Scarlett's daydream before waltzing out the door. Great. Scarlett didn't exactly like doing interviews with Zahara. Ofcourse it was great for their image but she never felt she could trust Zahara. Now that Scarlett had movie offers coming in, she needed to be careful. For the sake of the interview and the sake of her own sanity, she'd try to put it aside however. After all, she could have been totally wrong about her co-star. Remaining in her chair, she smiled over at the other girl, "Ready to please the fans/" she asked.
