----------
It was noon in the Jacobson household when it happened. Landon wasn't exactly sure how, or why, or even when it happened, but it was appreciated nonetheless, and was finished off accordingly. Landon Chase Jacobson had made the perfect BLT, and now it was gone from his plate, resting in his stomach until the time came for it to disappear entirely, never to be seen -- or, more importantly, eaten -- again, and it would be forever remembered as "The Best Freaking BLT Landon Had Ever Eaten".
"You know you're bored when you're making up internal monologues in your head about BLTs," Landon muttered, dropping his head to the kitchen table, "And when you keep talking to yourself."
It had been a slow day for Landon, starting with being called in for work only to be sent home for the day, no one answering his texts, and the cable being out (that had happened the night before, and for the weirdest reason, Landon just didn't believe the hotel manager when he said that he "had it all under control" because, seriously, if it was under control, the cable would be fixed right now). In addition to the day being slow, Landon was slow, too, sluggish as he put his used plate in the dishwasher, sluggish when he dragged his feet to his room, and sluggish when he flopped onto the bed in a futile attempt to catch up on the couple hours of sleep he missed due to being called into work at seven. The initial glow of hope in Hollywood had been diminished, and Landon often found his interest severely dropping. He missed his sister. And, if he wasn't so determined to get an acting job, he would have gone home a long time ago.
Landon buried his face into his pillow and took and deep breath, debating whether or not to call home or to try and go to sleep. The bed did feel pretty inviting, after all, and it wouldn't kill anyone for him to catch a couple extra z's. Of course, his plans, like most detrimental plans, were foiled by the doorbell ringing.
Ugh.
Landon heaved himself off of the bed and walked through the home to the front door, muttering under his breath about how tired he was, and about how he was going to punch someone in the face if it was a Jehovah's Witness on his porch, because, seriously, he had already read the bible a few times through and went to church and he just wasn't in the mood to try and tell these people that again. He was still a little on edge when he swung the door open, but probably not enough for someone else to notice. He could've been wrong, of course.

Nat drove to Landon’s house, a smile was planted on her face. A smile that nothing could remove. Because she had good news, not just good news, amazing news! And the first person she had to tell was Landon. He was like her brother, she told him everything and it was mutual between them. They trusted each other with everything. She knew things about him that no one else knew. Like how he had a small crush on Scarlett. But that wasn’t the biggest secret of his. He also grew up in a home with a single mother. Except his father didn’t abandon them. Instead the father died. But he had a little sister who was sick in the hospital, like how Nat had her grandmother in the hospital. The difference was that his situation was much sadder. That hers could never even compete. But he was still there to listen to her problems, even if they weren’t that grand. Of course she would always listen to his. These two were inseperable. There for he had to be one of the first people to find out this good news. Well other than her own mom, sister, and grandmother. Finally she did something right and couldn’t help but feel accomplished.
This good news was her first recording contract! She was kind of famous, like one of those nobody singers. But this could completely change that. She could be as big as Madonna or Lady Gaga. Okay now maybe that was a bit too much but Natalia was a big dreamer and once she had her mind set on something she got it done. She was determined to make this work. She was determined to get enough money to give her grandmother better health care. Give better healthcare to everyone in general. Sure being rich would be great but she was bound to run out of things to buy eventually so might as well do something charitable to help the people.
She parked her car in front of his house. She didn’t know where Landon was exactly but the best place to check was obviously his house. If he wasn’t here then she would actually call him or something. Why didn’t she think to do that before? Maybe the excitement messed with her brain and judgment. She wondered if she jumped into this whole thing too fast. She didn’t really think about it, more like pounced on the opportunity without thinking through the possible consequences. And she knew that it could lead to her downfall, but so could paranoia. So she decided to avoid all negative thinking.
She hopped out of her car and ran to the front of his house. She reached out her hand to ring the doorbell but before her finger touched it she noticed the door swing open a bit.“Landon!” she called with a small smile. “That is so weird, I didn’t even touch the doorbell and you opened the door. Must be some power that comes with freakish height.” She said teasingly with a chuckle. She always teased him for how tall he was, a true Frankenteen. Of course he always made fun of how short she was, called her a leprechaun and stuff. Just like actual siblings. “Can I come in?” she asked the excitement clear on her face as she glanced inside the seemingly empty and quiet house. words : 564 tags : Landon! noted : it's perfect, thanks hon credited : KBIRD of caution 2.0
