Nat parked her car in front of a familiar house. The house belonged to her best friend, Scarlett Belmont. Yes it was the Scarlett Belmont that played in that popular tv show, her favorite tv show actually. The girls had been best friends even before Scar became famous. They just remained close through the fame. It did help Nat with her publicity as a singer, being genuine best friends with Scar. She also did tend to get spoilers from the show which was always fun. The girls would tape the episodes and watch it together as they laughed from the stories Scar would tell her about on set experiences while filming. She did recall when she guest starred on the show, thanks to Scar. Ever since then she had been getting noticed more and she felt as if she owed her best friend. Now she did have enough money to support her single mom and her grandmother. She wondered how her dad would feel, seeing her famous now. He did call her a few days ago but she didn’t pick up. Did he regret leaving them? Well now she was going to shove it in his face. And if he came back then screw him because it was obviously because she was famous.
She wasn’t one to hate many people, but that man wasn’t worth forgiving. He was a worthless scum who betrayed his family to join another one. One who didn’t give a crap about them and probably never would. He would only come back just because he was a gold-digger and wanted the title of the father of the famous Natalia Carson. Of course barely anyone knew of her divorced parents. She didn’t share it with Hollywood. Sure it would be perfect revenge but something like that was just too mean. It was cruel and would ruin the poor man. Even after all that he did she didn’t have the heart to get back at him. It wasn’t even worth her energy, he was worthless. She had to keep telling herself that, because honestly, she was tired of being angry at him. Anger took out so much from her, it took out spirit that she needed to keep. The spirit that helped her keep her cool in public. But this was what she needed, a sleepover with her best friend to cry and tell her about everything going on in her life.
She walked to the front few steps. Her dark brown hair was a bit wavy with bangs brushed a bit to the side. She wore pajama pants and a tee shirt as she carried a duffel bag on her shoulder. She climbed up the steps in the dark, making sure not to trip on any. She rang the doorbell, which she could hear echo from outside and awaited for her best friend to open up. words : 479 tags : Scar! noted : So excited for their ADORABLE & EPIC sleepover! credited : KBIRD of caution 2.0

It was the first real thing she'd ever bought with her own money and it was a symbol of her independence. The Belmont's were a tight knit family. Her parents had always been involved in hers and her brothers lives. They were a unit. They all relied on each other. Moving to Hollywood was for her father in the first place. He was offered a better job and they all gave up their lives in their small beach side town. Who would have known the move would be the kick start to Scarlett's life? As much as she adored every single member of her family, it was nice to have the opportunity to move out of home. As soon as she could afford it, she'd bought the modest four bedroom house, equip with pool, bar and entertainment area.
Despite now having this amazing house all to herself, Scar hardly had the time to use it. After landing a lead role as Chloe Madison on the popular show Hollywood High, Scarlett found her time a rare commodity. She had rehearsals, fitting, filming, not to mention the long line of interviews and guest appearances. Her star was only just on the rise and she was already ran off her feet. She had no idea how hard life would be once she reached a movie star level of fame. That was if she ever met her goal. Tonight was a chance to forget about all of that however. With a few days off, Scarlett found herself alone. Coming from a big family, that wasn't something she was used to. Luckily she already had the perfect night set up.
What better way to spend a night off than having a good old fashioned sleep over with her best friend? Natalia Carson was the one constant thing in Scarlett's life. When your life becomes a whirl wind unexpectedly, nothing helps more than a good friend. Nat wasn't a good friend. She was the best. The two had met when Scar first moved to Hollywood. They were so similar that it was scary and had instantly become friends. When Scar just happened to land a role, Nat was there supporting her. The girls never competed. Over the last few years Scarlett had seen so many girls in the industry turn on each other and she knew how lucky she was to have Natalia. Scarlett didn't think she was anything too special. She'd been in the right place at the right time when a producer snapped her up. She had luck on her side and she believed in sharing that luck. Any chance she got, she was pushing Nat's music at people. The music director on her show was constantly being harassed by Scarlett. Nat was the most talented girl she'd ever met and Scar was going to do anything she could to make the world see that.
Hearing the knock at her door, Scarlett practically dropped her laptop as she jumped up off her couch. Excitement was always best when it came from simple things. Scar ran through her hall to the front door and opened it with a big swing and a grin to match. Her smile only grew wider as she saw the petite brunette in front of her. "Hey baby" Scar greeted her with a huge hug and a friendly kiss on the cheek. "Come in, come in" she ushered Nat in. There was no need to however, Scarlett's home was Natalia's. Her friends always came first and Nat and Landon were at the top of the list. Closing the door behind her, Scarlett skipped her way back into her living room. "How are you boo?" she asked happily, flopping her small frame down onto one of her sofas. "You have no idea how glad I am to just relax and catch up with you" she blonde gushed, absolutely relieved they were having some much needed girl time.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - STATUS: DONE TAGGED: NATALIA CARSON WORDS: 665 LYRICS: B.O.B. & Hayley Williams NOTES: Yayyy I love them so much already <33 OUTFIT:herrre CREDITS: Thanks to BUNNYA! at Caution 2.0

From outside Nat could hear the echo of running footsteps from inside the girl’s house. She smiled glad to know that Scar was excited to see her. But why wouldn’t she? The thought of a best friend not being excited to see her best friend was clearly mental and couldn’t possibly exist under any condition. Unless one friend was mad at the other. But even then they would still wish to see them, either to make things right or to be cruel. The second one quite uncommon but certainly not unheard of. Natalia shook away the random babble in her own head about what best friends meant and how they will be inseparable no matter what. People called her naïve for these beliefs. But she merely saw it as having a positive outlook on life and being optimistic. Something that wasn’t hard to do when it involved Scarlett. She just made it so easy to see the world in a light that made everything seem okay. And she was excited to tell her about her recording contract and venting about her father wouldn’t be so bad either. That is if she didn’t mind Nat’s useless ranting that wouldn’t help the situation at all, only would help her let off some steam and stress.
“Hey hon.” Nat responded with a huge smile. The two of them always had those cute pet names for each other. They were something Natalia called ‘Lesbian Lovers’. Not literally of course, but more in figurative terms. Scarlett was Nat’s best friend and closest female and they stuck together like glue. Therefore they were lesbian lovers. She hugged Scar back as she received a kiss on the cheek from her friend. Again, nothing more than a friendly gesture, just Scarlett being her usual adorable self. How a girl older than you can be adorable, Nat had no idea. But it just sort of turned out that way. She smiled as the girl unnecessarily ushered her in. Even without her okay Nat would come in. After all Scarlett’s house was like a second home to her. She would even go as far as to say that it felt more like a home than her own house did at times. After all they had this whole ‘mi casa es su casa’ thing going on. Spanish translating ‘my house is your house’. She smiled and followed Scar into the living room.
Nat plopped on the sofa next to her friend and smile. “I am amazing, even more than amazing, I am fantastical! I have so much to tell you.” She said enthusiastically, maybe a bit too energetic but she was just really excited to see Scar again. “Same here, but what about you? Anything new going on? Any guys you got your eyes on.” Nat said winking at her friend with a giggle. There was so much more behind the whole guy question than Scarlett knew. The fact that their best guy friend, Landon, had a crush on Scar. Nat knew, not only did he tell her but she also noticed for herself. She was the one who got the truth of his feelings out of him. But as for her, she was pretty clueless. Nat knew friends shared everything but Landon also was her best friend, he was like her brother. And she did promise not to tell Scar. Even if she did hint at it at times for fun, technically that wasn’t telling. She had so many more loopholes she could use to help the girl figure it out but she decided to show mercy on Landon and keep it a secret just to keep awkwardness away from them. Because honestly, nothing was worse than an awkward friendship.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - CAN WE PRETEND THAT AIRPLANES IN THE NIGHT SKY ARE LIKE SHOOTING STARS CAUSE I COULD REALLY USE A WISH RIGHT NOW - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - It was just so easy to get along with Natalia. Scarlett couldn't imagine anyone disliking the girl or even saying a bad word about her. Luckily for her, Nat was her best friend and not someone elses because to be honest, the move to Hollywood wouldn't have gone as smoothly if it wasn't for the tiny brunette. The girl just understood each other. They were positive and wanted to search for the best in the world. It was nice to have someone by your side when you were in such a bitchy industry. Scarlett was already terrified that she'd never amount to anything more because she just didn't have the nasty streak. Having Nat around reminded her that there were still good people around and Scar didn't need to change just to get ahead.
Scarlett made a point of at least calling Nat ever day. Sometimes work had her flying all over the place and she wasn't always around to hang out but the least she could do was check in with her friend and make sure everything was okay. Scar wasn't an angry person but she was extremely loyal. Those that she loved deserved the best and if anyone disrespected that, Scarlett would make her disapproval very clear. Phone calls weren't nearly as much fun however and she was glad they finally had time to hang out. Just them. No cameras or people filling a restaurant. She was eager to hear everything that she'd missed out on over the past few days. When it came to Nat, a few days felt like a life time.
Obviously she had missed something. Her friend was practically bursting at the seams with excitement. Just the vibe made Scarlett feel all bubbly. There were so many things that could spark a reaction like that in the girl but nothing made her more excited than her music. Scar was expecting a full briefing but suddenly the topic was changed back to her. She wanted hear Nat's news, not talk about herself. She felt the need to oblige however and thought if it was done quickly, she could move onto getting the news out of Nat. "I've been good. No new guys" she laughed and shaked her pretty blonde head, "Work keeps me busy enough. Besides, could you really see me dating some Hollywood industry guy?" she rolled her eyes sarcastically. Scarlett had been around some of the best looking guy ever. She often worked with them, hell sometimes she even got to make out with them on screen but she never really thought she'd be with someone like that. She hated cocky, arrogant people and that seemed to be the majority of Hollywood men. "Enough about me, I'm boring! Can you please tell me what is making you so freakin' happy?!" she exclaimed, bouncing up and down on the sofa and clapping her hands in encouragement.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - STATUS: DONE TAGGED: NATALIA CARSON WORDS: 665 LYRICS: B.O.B. & Hayley Williams NOTES: OUTFIT:herrre CREDITS: Thanks to BUNNYA! at Caution 2.0

Nat gave a small smile as she replied about the guy issue. It was rare that Scar ever really talked about a guy she liked, Nat couldn't recall the last time she liked a guy or thought she had a chance with one. It seemed Scar was just too judgy. Or maybe all guys were arrogant and annoying like that. It was more likely the second one since Scarlett wasn't one to judge. Also because if you were famous and were most likely hung on the wall of hundreds of girls you are bound to have an ego problem. Which is why Nat always promised herself that she would never let fame get to her and turn her into a bitch. But being naive never helped her. She was too sweet and saw good in too many people that she couldn't use manipulative tricks and could just easily get taken advantage of. Hollywood wasn't a good thing for her, it was dangerous for her. But she wanted this more than anything and at least she had her friends, like Landon and Scar, to protect her from people who would hurt her and use her for their own good.
She nodded, Scar was a workaholic, but who wouldn't be in Hollywood, the more of a workaholic you were in that industry the better known you were. She laughed and shook her head at her question. "You're right. They all seem too arrogant and plus you can do so much better. Or maybe because you are very picky." She said teasingly about the last part as she stuck out her tongue momentarily at the girl. She started to play with the girl's blonde hair. She braided its and just played with it in general. Nat was either very easily entertained or hair was the perfect way to distract someone. But Natalia always wanted Scarlett's hair. After all it was a beautiful golden blonde, a color which always seemed to attract people. Also how long and curly it was, she would give anything to have those curls. Scarlett was beautiful and Natalia longed to match her beauty one day. She hated to admit it but she did get jealous of the girl, especially when they were in public together. It made Nat feel far more inferior compared to the perfect blonde of everyone's dreams. Nat shook away her jealous thoughts not wanting to ruin the mood.
Nat laughed as she exclaimed being boring. "You are right, maybe you should work less." She said jokingly with a small smile. But she decided not to hold it off any longer. For she would surely go insane if she even tried. She was longing to tell someone and couldn't wait any longer. She could tell that even Scar was excited to hear the news. Natalia stopped playing with the blonde's hair and clasped her hands in hers. She started to jump up and down with excitement before even saying anything. "I got a recording contract! I am going to be on the radio! I am going to get my own cd! I will be famous and nominated for music awards! I am going to be able to meet people like Lady Gaga! Oh my god I am so happy you have no idea!" she exclaimed squealing at the end as she hugged Scar with excitement without even waiting for the girl to react. The excitement was taking over her and was now being expressed. She hadn't gotten a chance to talk to anyone about it so now she could finally get out all of her happiness and get it off her chest. She was so happy she was seriously going to cry.
