landon chase is nothing short of attractive. he has bright blue eyes and sun-dyed brown hair. he tans easily, so he’s always a little on the dark side, and he has broad shoulders and strong arms. he stands tall at about 6’2”, and is very toned from his abdomen to his calves. he has a very strong jaw line and a slightly thin mouth. he wears his stubble proudly and only shaves in case of a photo shoot. his hair is always spiked; it’s almost a signature look for him.

landon can usually be seen in a t-shirt and a pair of old jeans. he’s not picky about how he dresses, as long as he can still walk down the street without getting a judgmental look. during the cold months, landon likes wearing sweaters in particular, but will also deal with a long sleeved button-up shirt and a jacket. during the summer, he can always be seen in cargo shorts and a wife-beater. his favorite shoes are his two-year-old pair of red converse, followed closely by his grey and black checkered vans. landon is never without the braided bracelet that his sister gave him before he left for hollywood from his little town of coal hill, arkansas.

likes: working out, spending time with his sister, banana and peanut-butter sandwiches, sweaters, pet goldfish, summertime.
dislikes: liars, people who don’t have to work for what they want, stealing, tye-dye, hospitals, fattening foods.
hopes: he hopes to make enough money off of modeling to support his mother and his sister back home; if not modeling, he would like to try to make money off of acting, instead.
fears: landon is afraid of losing his family in some sort of accident. it’s slightly irrational, but he always worries about his mother and sister, and checks up on them nearly every moment he gets because he’s afraid that something will happen during the time he doesn’t.
talents: he’s very athletic and is good at nearly every sport he’s played, and he’s seriously photogenic (obviously, as he is a model), acting.

as long as anyone can remember, landon has been one of the most hard-working, dedicated, and driven people to have lived. when he was in high school, he would strive to make good grades, and he was often involved in sports when time allowed it. he has a very huge heart, and is always up for helping out when someone needs it. he sets goals for himself and does his best to accomplish them as soon as he can; and if he cannot accomplish them, he continues to try. he rarely just gives up, and when he does, it’s only when he feels like it is truly hopeless and there is nothing left that he can do.

landon is gentle, compassionate, and kind of a hopeless romantic. judging by his looks, there are people who assume that he is a player, but landon is actually a down-to-earth guy who does his best to earn the respect of women that he dates. he did go through a “date-every-girl-in-sight” phase in high school, of course, but he’s past that now, even if it sometimes comes back to haunt him. he firmly believes in the “no sex before marriage” rule, and is still a proud celibate and a strong christian who feels terrible if he doesn’t go to church every sunday. despite the “normal” expectations for a twenty-one year old in hollywood, landon stands by his morals and tries not to ruin his chances of making it big by doing something stupid, but it doesn’t mean he doesn’t go out and party every once and a while.

landon is also very forgiving, and apt to giving those who have wronged him a second chance, but he does not allow people to walk all over him, and rarely ever spares anyone a buck because he’s adamant about saving the money for his family. even though he gives out second chances to most people, if someone has seriously hurt him or someone close to him, he closes them out of his life for good. landon doesn’t like to put up with people who don’t care for anyone but themselves.

basically, landon is an overall good person with strong family values and a solid, christian belief. that’s not to say he doesn’t make mistakes, of course.

landon chase jacobson comes from a home with a single mother named patricia louise jacobson and a little sister named kaylee maria jacobson, who is diagnosed with an atypical form of rett syndrome, which is similar to autism. in order to pay for medication and surgery, landon often had to work on the side to help support his family, which is why he was so reluctant to leave. his mother and sister, however, convinced him that in hollywood, he could find is calling, and they would both be happier if he was doing something he loved. his mother is a writer for the newspaper, and a substitute teacher at westside high school, and his sister is nine years old and homeschooled in order to keep her away from students that might make tease her for her condition. his father died in a car crash when he was ten.

landon chase was born and raised in the relatively small city of coal hill, arkansas, and after the death of his father, his mother, a writer with little pay, raised him and his little sister without any extra support. landon worked hard in school and made good grades, intending to go to college for engineering. however, his true calling, he believed, was hollywood, where all great actors and musicians and artists were discovered. he was not originally planning to act on that dream – after all, he had an ill sister to help his mother support – until his mother told him to do what he wanted, and they would manage no matter what happened. taking that advice to heart, landon hopped into his car and made the long trip to hollywood straight after high school, hoping that his dreams would be realized.

a few months in, and landon wasn’t doing so well. he was trying out for plenty of gigs, but never seemed to quite make the cut. he survived off of ramen noodles and working in two separate restaurants to try and make a few bucks to tide him over until his acting career kicked off. unfortunately, after a full summer went by with nothing to show for it, the eighteen-year-old was beginning to feel discouraged, and even contemplated returning home to reapply for technical colleges. before he could act on the decision, though, he was contacted by a modeling agent, who was simply dying to have him show up for a test shoot. despite modeling not being landon’s original plan, he made the best of it and went to the shoot, anyways, to see if he could do something with modeling, instead. lucky for him, he was a hit!

almost immediately afterwards, he got a call from an agent for vogue, then one for a men’s magazine, and soon, he was booked for a few weeks. as things began to pick up, he began sending money back home to his mom and sister, hoping to help them through tough financial times due to his sister’s much-needed treatments. now, three years later, he’s still a pretty well-known model, although his money fluctuates from good to bad in a small period of time. even so, he’s happy to have a gig every now and again, but he will continue to audition for roles in movies, hoping to get the big break that every human being in hollywood strives for.
